Riding Along in my Barbie Jeep

Riding along in my new barbie car...I'm gonna go really far!!! Abrianna was lucky to inherit this barbie jeep from our neighbors across the street whose girls have outgrown it. Although I am not too sure about a couple of 2 year olds driving it (well, actually Dante's foot can't quite reach the pedal yet!)...actually it's not the driving part...it's the navigating that worries me...there have been a few crashes...of course nothing serious...we have enough plastic out in the backyard to cushion any crashes!

Abrianna at her Princess Dance Class

Abrianna is in a Princess Dance Class through the city at Extreme Dance studio. She's only had 2 classes but she loves to get dressed and go to dance. She gets so excited and askes me all the way to the studio to go dance...sometimes the drive across town feels like it's across country!

She gets a kick out of seeing herself in the mirror.

They do half the class in ballet shoes and half in tap...the tapping is really funny to HEAR with a class of 2-3 yr olds! Doesn't she look intense listening to her teacher?!

I'm having so much fun!

New Brighton Beach

On a nice Saturday morning we decided to fulfill Massimo's wish and go to the beach...the real beach with seashells is what Massimo wanted to go to (not by the lake beach). It was a little chilly at first but it warmed up quick. Boy did I forget how fine sand is and how it gets EVERYWHERE!
Dante was so excited about playing with his trucks in the sand. Abi just loves to play in the sand.

Daddy walked along the beach with the kids while I attempted to put together lunch...in the sand...no thanks for me! The kids didn't like the waves and Abrianna got scared and came running. Massimo screamed over the seaweed and didn't like it at all and daddy had to carry him over the seaweed (isn't that a site). We didn't stay very long but they still had a fun time!

Twin's 2nd Birthday

Hard to believe we are celebrating 2 years! It does feel like a milestone though. We had a fun day...though it didn't end so fun with Dante ending up in the ER. We played outside (on of their favorite things to do)...and turns out that really didn't help Dante with his breathing issue later that day. Massimo & Abrianna went swimming at the neighbor's house...while Dante stayed home with dad and at that point I was a bad mommy for not taking him to the ER at that point in time...the pressure from the kids to go swimming and do birthday activities got to me!

mmmm...even though Dante didn't feel well he still was a good trooper through the birthday celebration!

Presents! Massimo just couldn't contain himself with the excitement...he led most of the birthday activities...and Abi loved ripping the paper to shreds!
