Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! Here we all are! We had a few celebrations for Valentine's this year. Donavan and I got to have a date night on Valentine's which hasn't happened in about 4 years! Well, we usually combine Valentine's and Donavan's birthday since it's only 5 days apart.

Massimo's Valentine party at school

Massimo had a Valentine party at his school and he made a box for all his Valentine's (which was a lot!). He had fun passing them out (though he thought he'd keep one for himself). The twins just enjoyed being in his classroom and checking out all the cool stuff. Dante immediately called out "Mamo" when he saw him and wanted to be near him.

LMC Valentine's Day party

Livermore Mom's club hosted a Valentine party for the kids, with crafts to make, cookies to decorate and some basketball fun! The kids had a great time running around (and giving me a workout!). Dante skipped the decorating part and just eating up the cookie, Massimo decorated his with nothing other than green (his absolute favorite color), and Abrianna LOVED using those sprinkles but didn't want to eat the cookie!

Superbowl Sunday

Ring Around The Rosie...the kids had lots of fun ending the day with Ring Around the Rosie. We spent Superbowl at our neighbor's house, Stacey & Jake's (whose son is in Massimo's swim class). It was fun to get out and the kids had a blast! As you can see here, Luke, Tyler, Zack, Alyssa & Massimo had lots of fun! Surprisingly the twins missed this action because they, too love to sing this!

Happy 1st Birthday James

Happy 1st Birthday James! James is our godson, son of our dear friends Patrick & Bridget Spicer. We celebrated his birthday on January 29th @ the Spicers for some dinner & cake. Massimo had a blast with his buddy Jack (Jame's older brother). The twins just followed the big boys around!

Fun at the SF Aquarium by the Bay

We took a trip to the SF Aquarium by the Bay today to satisfy Massimo's constant wish to "see the ocean and fishies". At the end of the day we asked Massimo if he had fun (yes, of course he says) and his most favorite thing was the...scuba diver! Yes, that's all he talked about when we asked him what he saw. Of course when we jogged his memory and talked about the fish and what we did he enjoyed "finding Nemo" (one of his favorite movies - and where the fascination of scuba divers all started...don't be surprised if that's what he ends up being for Halloween!) and touching the Stingray and sharks...and outside of the aquarium he got to see trains (Bart), trolleys, buses, and of course the ocean! It was all very exciting for him to be in a big city like that with so much variety around him...so many things to see. The twins loved it, too. Abrianna got to interact a lot more since she is walking and more able, it was a little hard to let Dante crawl so he got to snack and check it all out from stroller view. He did get out at the end in the toddler area and got to touch the sea urchins and he loved that so much! He got really excited watching all the fish swim by. It was a fun day (and tiring chasing after at least 2 and sometimes 3).
